Booking, Cancellation & Experience Policy
The following conditions apply to private experiences booked directly with The Secret of Paris.
Booking changes
All requests to modify a booking, including changes to the date, time or content of an experience, are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Any cancellation or amendment request must be submitted in writing by email.
Cancellation policy
- 10 days or more before the scheduled experience: 100% refund.
- Between 5 and 10 days before the scheduled experience: 50% refund.
- Less than 5 days before the scheduled experience: non-refundable.
Advance tickets and interrupted experiences
Where admission tickets, reservations or other third-party services have been purchased in advance on behalf of the guest — including, but not limited to, the Louvre, Versailles, the Eiffel Tower and the Musée d’Orsay — these costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from any applicable refund.
Any experience interrupted or shortened at the guest’s request once it has begun is non-refundable.
Museum closures, strikes & unforeseen circumstances
In the event of an unexpected museum or monument closure, strike, or other circumstance beyond our control that prevents all or part of the booked experience from taking place, the corresponding service will be refunded.
For admission tickets and other services purchased through third-party providers, refunds will be issued according to the refund actually received from the relevant provider.
Whenever possible, The Secret of Paris will first offer an alternative itinerary, experience or date, subject to availability and the guest’s agreement.
Refunds
Where a full or partial refund is applicable, The Secret of Paris will process the refund within 30 days of receiving the cancellation request or confirmation of the applicable refund.
Weather conditions
Our experiences generally operate regardless of weather conditions.
If an experience, or part of an experience, cannot take place due to severe weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control, The Secret of Paris will, whenever possible, offer a suitable alternative.
If no reasonable alternative can be provided and the experience cannot be delivered, the corresponding service will be refunded, subject to any non-refundable third-party costs.
